He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Charles Jonas and Rose Jonas (Silber); his children, Lawrence Katz (Jill) of New Jersey, Jeffrey Jonas of New York City and Michele Schmitt of Florida; his daughter-in-law Cantor Marcie Jonas of Sudbury; and his wife Claire Jonas (Pollack). He was also cherished by seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
