He was predeceased by: his parents, Antone Luce and Elsie Blanchette (Mortagua); and his brother Robert Luce. He is survived by: his daughter Chelsey Luce (Brad Santos) of New Bedford; his stepdaughters, Natasha Carvalho and Nathalie Zambrano; his close friend Christopher Smith of Worcester; his siblings, Bruce Lewis of New Bedford, Rosemary Head of New Bedford, Diane Machado (Robert) of Dartmouth, Cheryl Barrett (Charles) of Dartmouth, Sandra Hibbert (Todd), Wareham and Tamara Luce of New Bedford; his grandchildren, Hunter Santos and Harper Santos; and his sisters, Elaine Gendreau and Karen DeMello.
