He was predeceased by: his sister Jelica Gjakovski (Gorgievski); his sister-in-law Divna Gorgievski (Djordjevic); and his parents, Jovan Gorgievski and Jelena Gorgievski (Culeva). He is survived by: his brothers, Toma and Blagoj Gorgievski; his brother-in-law Mladen Gjakovski; his siblings' children, Sonja Pisarczyk (James), Nicholas Gorgievski (Patricia), Michael Gorgievski, Elizabeth McCarthy (Ryan) and Jovan Gorgievski; his great-nieces and great-nephews, Kate, Mia Gorgievski, Brayden Gorgievski, Bradley, Molly and John McCarthy; his pet Tootsie; and his brother Pizza.
