He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Maria Dumitriu (Florea) of Millbury; his children, Cristian Dumitriu of Worcester and Roxana Herzog (Frank) of Millbury; his sister Beby Serban of Romania; his grandchildren, Ariana and Michael; his siblings, Marcela and Dorina; and his parents, Vasile Dumitriu and Ioana Dumitriu (Chiru).
