He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Johnston and Evelyn Johnston (Robertson); and his brother Robert Johnston. He is survived by: his children, Richard P. Johnston, Jr. (Lynn) of Worcester, George Maringo (Amy) of Millbury and Tammy Sousa (Serry) of Millbury; his siblings, David Johnston (Sarah) of San Francisco, CA and Patricia Corley (Hal) of Marietta, GA; his sister-in-law Dee Johnston of Las Vegas, NV.; and his sibling River Casino. He is also survived by seven grandchildren.
