He was predeceased by: his parents, Ruben L. Lunger and Leona Lunger (Mellinger); his former wife Rita Lunger (Masiello); his wife Edith Lunger (Prentler); his great grandchildren, Andrew and Anthony Harwood; and his siblings, Helen Melanson, Paul Lunger, Richard Lunger, George Lunger and Homer Moore.
He is survived by: his daughters, Carol McGrath (Edward Jakubiak) of Worcester, Roberta Lavin (Thomas) of Worcester and Robin Ide (Kevin) of Dayville, CT; his grandchildren, Sean McGrath (Kim Schultz), Mark Lavin (Jennifer), Megan Corrales (Alex), Marisa Mitchell (Michael), Melanie Ginese and Joseph Ginese (Robyn); and his siblings, Carol Hull of Sanford, NC and Ronald Lunger (Barbara) of Alachua, FL. He is also survived by many nephews and nieces.
