He was predeceased by: his parents, Soriano Hernandez Charenco and Petra Acevedo Rivera. He is survived by: his wife Milagros Santiago; his children, William Vega, Milton Lopez, Samuel Santiago, Teresa Zelayandia, Elizabeth Hernandez, Lila Ortiz, Catalina Diaz and Milagros Diaz; and his siblings, Ismael, Soriano Hernandez, Jr., Ruth Ruiz, Noemi Hernandez, Ester Maldonado and Sara Hernandez. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews, grand-nieces and grand nephews.
