It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sophie Sweeney (Worcester, Massachusetts), born in Somerville, Massachusetts, who passed away on July 22, 2018, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her siblings, Louis Caola, Frank Caola, Henry Caola and Doris Sulkoski. She is survived by: her parents, John Caola and Anna Caola (Bonapace); her husband Thomas J. Sweeney, Jr.; her son Thomas J. Sweeney, III; her wife Eileen of Lakeland; her daughters, Paula M. Kowszik (Tony) of Millbury and Linda M. Taylor (James) of Rutland; and also, Michael J. Sweeney (Patty) of Paxton and John F. Sweeney of New Braintree.
