He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Ethel M. Goddard (Auterback); his children, Vickie Goddard of Worcester, Judith Brogan of Tiverton, RI, Millie Goddard of Webster, Jody Brooks of Falmouth, Muriel Goddard of West Brookfield, Cynthia Valley of North Brookfield, Vernon Goddard Jr. of Spencer and William Goddard of Worcester; and his parents, Philip H. Goddard and Muriel V. Goddard (Wetherbee). He was also cherished by 13 grandchildren; and eleven great-grandchildren.
