He is survived by: his parents, John H. McKinstry and Minnie E. McKinstry (Creswell); his wife Carol D. McKinstry (Gay); his sons, Craig S. McKinstry (Maryann) of Whitinsville, Todd A. McKinstry and Scott W. McKinstry; his grandchildren, Michael McKinstry, Steven McKinstry and Sarah McKinstry-Whittle; and his great grandchildren, Marlee, Clara and Jackson. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Town of Sterling Ambulance Fund, P.O. Box 515, Sterling MA 01564.
