We are sad to announce that on May 4, 2021, at the age of 83, Irene Sheppard (Abingdon, Maryland), born in Washington, District of Columbia passed away. She was predeceased by : her parents, James and Margaret McManus (Kraft); her former life partner Cole McClellan Johnson; her son Timothy Clark Johnson; and her brother Joseph "Sonny" McManus.

She is survived by : her sons, James Cole Johnson, Daniel Joseph Johnson, Scott Franklin Sheppard, Jeffrey Claude Sheppard and Andrew Thomas Sheppard; and also, Margaret "Sis" Miller, Helen Atkinson, Anna Sheppard, Mary Raspe and Shirley Hammett. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.
