She is survived by: her husband Joseph Emory Wheat; her daughters, Jennifer Wheat and Crystal Wheat; her grandchildren, Michael, Mark, Destiny, Makayla, Aubree and Liam; and her sister Charlotte Spinner. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Humane Society of Harford County, an organization close to Virginia's heart.
