With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joan Reid Hyde (Abingdon, Maryland), born in Washington, District of Columbia, who passed away on August 17, 2021 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James Allison and Artie Susann Reid (Duffin); her former spouse Neill Dumont, Jr.; and her spouse Laron Deloss Hyde. She is survived by: her children, Neill III, Artie and Jim (Jim); her grandchildren, Melanie Berkabile, Christine York, Jessica Dumont, Sarah Dumont, James Dumont, Samuel Dumont, Julia Dumont Grrant, Amanda Lipscomb, Joan Smallwood, Marion Maynor and Kate Smallwood; and her great grandchildren, Brandon of Bella, DJ, Kallie, River, Ripley, Maren, Rexford, Reid, Jaivian, Imeira, Da'sheyll, Jakai, Olivia, Jamari, Demi and Aaliyah. She is also survived by cousins, family and friends as well as many dear step-children, step-grandchildren and step-great grandchildren.
