He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Barbara; his children, Barbara Harmel (Steve) of Davidsonville, Wayne Avery, Jr. (Katy) of Edgewater and Wynee Zehner (Marty) of Millsboro; and his grandchildren, Laurie, Janet, Amy, Stephen, Carl, Nicole, Rachel, Mary and Sarah. He was also cherished by ten great-grandchildren.
