She was predeceased by: her husband Samuel R. Golway, Sr; and her sister Marlene. She is survived by: her sons, Sam Golway and Paul Golway; her brother Dan Bunyea of Berlin; and her grandchildren, Paul, Bradley Golway and Lauren Reddy.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Humane Society of Calvert County, 2210 Daleymple Rd., Sunderland, MD 20689.
