He is survived by: his siblings, Victor Markland and Keogh; his child Douglas Markland, Jr.; his wife Susan Ann Markland; his grandchildren, Amanda Elizabeth Markland, Stephanie Ann Markland, Sarah Kruse and Ryan Kruse; his great grandchild Jayda Lynn Kruse; and also Barbara Kruse (Raymond Kruse). He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
