He was predeceased by: his child Lucas Alexius Bishop; and his sibling Todd Christopher Bishop. He is survived by: his spouse Ellie Goff Bishop; his children, Melissa Elizabeth Bishop Newbury (Kenneth) and Megan Alexis Bishop (William Amos); his grandchildren, Regan Elizabeth Newbury, Rowen Alexius and Lynlie Josephine Amos; and his siblings, Barbara Ann Wilson (John) and Brendy Melinda Esmond (Robert). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials in his name may be made to Shrine of the Sacred Heart Church or the American Cancer Society.
