It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alvin Russell Blick (Baltimore, Maryland), born in Lawrenceville, Virginia, who passed away on May 19, 2019, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Blick and Lillian Blick; his wife Doreathia Blick; his children, Melvin Blick, Nyne Britt, Jr., Russell Blick, Ulric Blick and Sheila Blick; and his siblings, Dallas Thomas Blick, Eddie Lee Blick, Jimmy Blick, Leonard Blick, Alethia, Betty and Georgia.
He is survived by: his daughter Alease Bell (David); his siblings, Lillian Jackson and LeRoy Blick; his daughters-in-law, Donna Blick Ogala and Norma Britt; his grandchildren, Sherri Thornton, Stephanie Crippen, Michael Steven Bell, Sr. (Tonja), Marie Stewart (Danjuma) and Nneka Ogala; and his great grandchildren, Christopher Smith, Michael Bell Jr., Matthew Bell and Jazzmine Stewart. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
