She was predeceased by: her parents, Doris Handen and Hesse Handen; and her brother Allen Handen. She is survived by: her husband Leonard Monfred; her daughters, Susan Monfred Kornblit (Steven Kornblit) and Lisa Monfred Wilentz (Robb Wilentz); and her grandchildren, Ryan Kornblit, Alexander and Daniel Wilentz.
