He was predeceased by: his wife Rona Raskin; his daughter Sandie Zander; his parents, Etta Raskin and Nathan Raskin; and his brothers, Edward and Joseph Raskin.

He is survived by: his children, Fran Leitman, Steven Raskin, Rabbi Steven Leitman and Dr. Andrew Zander (Nancy Raskin). He is also survived by 6 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
