He was predeceased by: his parent Virtee Lawson Thomas. He is survived by: his wife Geneva Thomas; his children, Landis (Charlene) and Dorthea "Kim" Paylor-Grant (Anthony); his grandchildren, Trina Thomas, Lavon Thomas, Jr., Jackie Odom, Trevor Campbell, Tavon Payne and Thomas Jackson; his great grandchildren, Marquise Nicholson, Laney Nicholson, Kai Nicholson, Aiden Hawkins and Devin Campbell; his siblings, Ernestine Brooks of Baltimore and Grady Thomas (Helen) of Roxboro; and his sisters-in-law, Geraldine Ramsey of Washington, DC, Estelle Thomas and Lillian Paylor. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and other additional relatives and friends.
