He was predeceased by: his wife Mary Catherine Bangert; and his siblings, Geroge, Cass, Maire, Mike, Joe and Irene.

He is survived by: his son Charles "Chuck" J. Bangert (Elizabeth); his grandchildren, Lauren, C. J., Michael and Gage; and his great grandchild Ella.
