Melvin III, Deshawn Mona and Treasure Jackson; his siblings, Cornell Ward, Michael, Kenneth Melvin, Laprea Kelly and Doray Melvin; his aunts, Josephine Featherstone, Sandra Lee Melvin, Denise Mackey, Paulette Brawning, Janice Melvin, Sharon Melvin, Joyce Melvin, Cheryl Webster and Corrine Powers; his grandson Caiden Gorden; and his uncles, Bernard Hilton and Arthur Hilton.
