She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Elsmere Hill and Louise Parlett Gardiner; her stepparent Adrian Posey Gardiner, Jr.; and her siblings, Josephine L. Hill, Brenda A. Dodd and Lawrence A. Gardiner, Sr..
She is survived by: her children, Paul C. Haigley III (Antoinette) and Maria Burkhardt (Greg); her grandchildren, Margaret, Julia and Paulie; her siblings, Stephen J. Gardiner (Debbie) of Marydel, MD, Michael K. Gardiner, Sr. (Brenda) of Clements, MD and Deborah L. Friedrich (Ronald) of LaPlata, MD.; and her siblings-in-law, Sharon Gardiner of LaPlata, MD and Dennis Dodd of LaPlata, MD. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces, & great nephews.
