She was predeceased by: her husband Theodore; her brother Charles Breitstein; and her parents, Dorothy Breitstein and Moses Breitstein. She is survived by: her son Douglas Newhoff (Elizabeth); and her granddaughters, Caroline and Emily Newhoff.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be sent to the Salvation Army Women's Auxiliary or the Alzheimer's Association.
