She was predeceased by: her husband Daniel Freedman; her sister Sidnee Berger; her parents, George Smulson and Charlotte Smulson; and her grandson Michael Freedman.

She is survived by: her children, Stacey Freedman Sherrill and Dawn Goldberg (Glenn); her sister Susan Levi (Mark); her grandchildren, Jared Goldberg (Jessica), Cameron Goldberg (Nora), Tyler Goldberg and Jamie Sherrill; and her great grandchildren, Dylan, Walter and Lennon Goldberg. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
