He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Daniel Almer and Marie Almer (Meier); his wife Elizabeth "Liz" Brandon; his children, Shelley Stanley and Courtney Anthony Almer; his grandchildren, Christopher Stanley, Amy Stanley, Isabel Almer and Alyssa Almer; and his siblings, Dean Almer and Dolores Leland.
