She was predeceased by: her husband Sydney; and her brothers, Morton and Irving Poloway. She is survived by: her sister Rhona Morris; her sons, Marc Himmelstein (Pamela Aycock), Alan Himmelstein (Steffi) and Stevan Himmelstein (Carol); her grandchildren, Jason Himmelstein (Jill), Philip Himmelstein (Alexandra Stern), Amy Strauss (Matthew), Molly Hollenberg (Dan) and Jeremy Himmelstein (Jennifer Rottenberg); and her great grandchildren, Max, Sam Himmelstein, Elizabeth Strauss and Isabel Himmelstein.
