He was predeceased by: his sibling Leonard Bocek. He is survived by: his spouse Janice M. Bocek; his children, Stephen J. Bocek, David G. Bocek and Joseph L. Bocek (Deanna Ortiz); his grandchildren, Jacob Bocek and Grace Bocek; and his siblings, James Bocek (Linda) and Gerald Bocek. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in his name to the Spastic Paraplegia Foundation, Inc., 1605 Goularte Place, Fremont, CA 94539-7241.
