He was predeceased by: his sisters, Frances Nosker and Evelyn Sommers. He is survived by: his wife Jo Flynn McShane; his children, Pamela Ann Smith (Jack) and Neil Charles McShane (Maureen); his stepchildren, Thomas W. Flynn, Joann Massengill, Susan Brockman, Karen Sopko and James Flynn; and his grandchildren, Shane Smith, Ryan Smith, Audra McShane, Alex McShane and Matt McShane.
Due to the Coronavirus the family is having a private graveside service.
