She was predeceased by: her husband Charles Richard Carpenter; her parents, Jesse Paul Hethcoat and Isophene Willes; and her brother Richard Willis. She is survived by: her children, Christy Sexton (Michael), Bob Carpenter (Lorraine), Mitzi Carpenter, Melody Merlo (Vincent) and Scott Carpenter; and her siblings, Anita Renken and Don Hethcoat. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
