He is survived by: his wife Kathleen M. Williams; and his children, Herman E. Funk, Jr. (Jill), Suzanne Blair (Jack), Jeffrey Funk (Deborah), Amy Youssefi (Japeh) and Joseph Funk (Diana). He is also survived by fourteen grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
