He was predeceased by: his parents, Martha Messina and Howard Groh; and his nephew William. He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth May Groh; his children, Theresa Elaine Groh and Howard William Groh (Ki Lynn Groh); his grandsons, Carl, Andrew and Matthew Groh; his great grandchild Leon Groh; his siblings, Geraldine Groh, Shirley Burk (late William "Buddy" Burk) and Jackie Denner; his sisters-in-law, Theresa Garland (Robert) and Cathy Dayhoff (Greg); and his siblings' children, Charlene, Patty, Russell, Ricky, Mark, Todd, Heidi, Matthew, Meredith, Michael, Robert, George and Shane.
