He was predeceased by: his significant other Marian Klein (Helzner); his parents, Nettie Klein and Jacob Klein; and his siblings, Shirley Berger, Gertrude Caplan, Flora Keyes and Adele Kallins.

He is survived by: his children, Darlene Gordon (Jerry), Stanley Klein (Paulette), Annie Gordon (Stephen Cohen), Jamie Altchek (Daniel) and Jacob Klein (Paige Putney); and his great grandchildren, Ethan, Alexa Cohen, Jordan and Dylan Altchek. He is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews and friends.
