He was loved and cherished by many people including: his mother Grace Lane; his siblings, Leroy Lucas and Shirley Marie Ford; his wife Gloria Joan Griffiths; his brother Herman Johnson; his children, Alison and Edwin; his grandchildren, Arielle Moody and Ellwood; and his siblings' children, Wirt Johnson, Eric Ford, Avery, DeVora Merrick, Marsha Ford, Jessie Mae Smith and Wanda Owens-Allen. He was also cherished by great nieces and great nephews, great great nieces and great great nephews, cousins, neighbors and friends.
