It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jeffrey Meekins (Baltimore, Maryland), who passed away on January 14, 2020, at the age of 62, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his mother Geraldine E. Meekins; and his sisters, Carolyn Meekins-Blake and Janet Meekins. He is survived by: his father Otis Cooper, Sr.; his children, Brandi Wilson of Seaford, Leatrice Khodoo (Kevin Sr.) of Hartford County and Ja'Keem Meekins of Denton; his grandchildren, Kavon, Kevin, Jr., Kenny and Karson Khadoo; and his siblings, JoAnn Meekins of Centreville, Brenda Meekins-Walker of Baltimore, Christina Meekins of Cambridge, Gloria Mercy, Lajuan Macant of New York, Anthony Meekins (Yolanda) and Otis Copper Jr. (Gwendolyn) of Cambridge, MD. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
