She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, William H. Sheckels and Dorothy M. Sheckels; her children, Janet Compher, Rob Compher (Karen) and John Compher (Debbie); her grandchildren, Brandon Compher (Brittany), Marissa Dreisch, Ryan Dreisch (Stacy), Courtney Waters (Dan), Nick Compher, Jackson Compher and Matthew Compher; and her great grandchildren, Noelle Dreisch, Kayleigh Zhen, Payson Compher and Cohen Compher. She was also cherished by her grandchildren and great-grandchildren as "Grammy".
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Pathfinders For Autism, Seasons Hospice or Alzheimer's Association.
