He was predeceased by: his brother Philip R. Sauer; his stepson William E. Seitz, III; and his parents, Agnes A. Sauer and Charles J. Sauer, Jr.. He is survived by: his daughter Jennifer Sauer Staylor; his grandchildren, Sierra N. Staylor, Makenzie G. Staylor and Mark S. Staylor, Jr.; and his siblings, Charles J. Sauer, III, George J. Sauer, Louis H. Sauer, Sr. and Ann C. Brown Sauer. He is also survived by cousins, nieces and nephews.
