It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of John Edgar Markel (Baltimore, Maryland), who passed away on December 1, 2020, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Elva Mae Markel (Anita M. Miller); and his sister Ruth M. Owens (Lyell). He is survived by: his companion Anita M. Miller; his children, Lynda M. Wise (Carl), Dr. John S. Markel (Robin) and Jane Markel Henry; and his nephew Dr. L. Gary Owens. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren.
