He was predeceased by: his parents, Atheline Bryant and Willie Bryant; and his siblings, Sharon McNair, Dennis and Barton Bryant.
He is survived by: his wife Gwendolyn Mayo; his son Myles Mayo; his stepchildren, Sharron Howard and Tavone Waters; his siblings, Carnell and Christina; and his siblings' children, Knikia, Quatanja, Tiffany, Jasmine, Christine, Allen, Terrance, Christopher and Dennis. He is also survived by one aunt, nine great nieces, four great nephews, one great great nephew, his mother-in-law Nancy Waters, father -in-law Clarence Waters, a very close friend Cornelius Smith Jr and many other relatives and friends.
