He is survived by: his spouse Donna Shapiro; his child Neal Shapiro (Lisa); his siblings, Sophie Finglass, Lillian Braver, Freda Sopher, Edith Askin, Gertrude Bonnett and Irene Wasserkrug; his grandchildren, Emily Shapiro and Charlie Shapiro; and his parent Isaac Shapiro.
