He is survived by: his children, Leslie Deickman, III, Lewis Deickman, Lawrence Deickman, Jessie Deickman, Eric Deickman, Arelene Truax, Mary Blevins, Jessica Deickman and Billie Jo Deickman; and his siblings, Dorothy Engel, Jean Grace and Mildred Drier. He is also survived by 19 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren.
