She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband George Larkin Brown; her children, Susan (David Hoover), Bryan Brown (Jane) and Ellen Stengel (William); her grandchildren, Jessica Pelesky (Christopher), Jeremiah Flynn (Tassnim), Rebecca Brown and William Brown; her great grandchildren, Lillian Pelesky and Ardalan Flynn; and her siblings, Thomas Jefferson Doud, Jr. and Carolyn Croswell Lewis.
In lieu of flowers, donations in her honor can be made to the Little Sisters of the Poor or Stella Maris Hospice.
