She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Hepping and Pauline Hepping; her husband Harley D. Deshler; her sons, Benedict J Poteet 3rd and David D. Deshler; and her siblings, Pamela J Miles, Julia Moss (Judy), Marsha Yazel, Kalvin Schindler and Fred Hepping Jr..
She is survived by: her children, Shane T Poteet Sr., Shawn L. Howser and Kimberly Jaecksch; her grandchildren, Julia Burton (Ryan), Scott J. Howser, Katy Gracie (Zach), Shane T. Poteet Jr. (Lauren) and Angelina Jeffries (Andrew); her great grandchildren, Ella Burton, Peyton O'Neil, Pyper Gracie, Payslee Gracie, Parker Gracie, Blakely Poteet and Aaron Jeffries; and her sisters, Pauline Hill and Alphadine Earle.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 14th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the McCully Polyniak & Collins Funeral Home (3204 Mountain Rd, Pasadena, MD 21122). A prayer will be held on Tuesday, October 14th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to be made to the Tate Center of Glen Burnie to help carry on the excellent care that was provided to our Mom.
