He is survived by: his brother Navy; his wife Dagmar Epps; his brother Ricardo Epps; his children, Soja Lui Rey Epps and Lorenzo J. Epps Jr.; his stepchildren, Djafar Barzegar, Said Barzegar and Yasmine Sharei; his cousin Diana Epps; and his parents, Lorenzo N. Epps and Roberta Simpson Epps. He is also survived by many relatives and friends.
