He was predeceased by: his parents, Panagiotis Sotirakos and Vasiliki Sotirakos; and his brothers, Nicolaos, Kostantinos, Ioannis and Athanasios.
He is survived by: his husband Diamando Sotirakos (Kourniotis); his children, Bessie Demos (Emmanuel) and Peter Sotirakos; and his grandchildren, Stephen Demos (Danielle), Elias Sotirakos and Sophia Sotirakos. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
