She was predeceased by: her husband Roy G. Herring Sr; and her son Cecil M. Herring Sr.. She is survived by: her children, Sandra S. Gill, Linda L. Atwell, Roy G. Herring Jr., Joseph F. Herring and Brenda L. Brizzie (Paul Pavik); and her siblings, Bertha Biewer, Catherine Goslin and Henry Amend. She is also survived by 19 grandchildren, 37 great-grandchildren and 6 great-great-grandchildren.
