He was predeceased by: his sister Eleanor Berzofsky (Max); and his parents, Louis Mitnick and Rose Mitnick. He is survived by: his wife Vera Mitnick; his children, John Mitnick (Fran), Walter Mitnick (Jody) and Marge Bershtein (Larry); his grandchildren, Tracy Levitt (Ross), Joshua Mitnick (Stacy Schwartz), Nora Broendel (Reid) and Alice Mitnick; and his great grandchildren, Archer Levitt and Rhys Levitt.
