He was predeceased by: his sister Sandra Sue Heikkinen. He is survived by: his spouse Deighlene J. Colby; his son Michael Robert Colby, Jr. (Nikki); his grandchildren, Hope and Josiah; and his siblings, Gordon Lee Colby, Steven Earnest Colby, Dennis Craig Colby, Mark Allen Colby, Rebecca Joye Latham and Jennifer Lynne Knight. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
