She was predeceased by: her husband Elias Jacobs; her siblings, Samuel Spungin, Ely Spungin and Freda Rosenberg; and her parents, Goldie Spungin and Louis Spungin.
She is survived by: her daughters, Eileen Atran (Harris), Sharon Friedman (Joel) and Lynda Friedman (late Richard); and her grandchildren, Shannon Atran, Zachary Atran and Elysa Friedman.
